At the heart of Jubilee’s community are our Sunday school classes. These groups are led by individuals who offer faithful Bible teaching as well as guidance for this small group ministry. Curriculum and other teaching resources are provided by Jubilee.
This team of volunteers can serve in a variety of ways. Areas of service may include visiting those who cannot attend services or assisting with meals for a family during a loss or other time of need.
Faithful Bible teaching is the foundation of our ministries at Jubilee. The minimum qualification for this role is to be a committed follower of Jesus who has a growing relationship with the Lord. Church members with the gift of teaching and a desire to make disciples of men will thrive here.
This is a catch-all role for this ministry. Any special events requires a host of jobs and volunteers. It includes both behind-the-scenes and out front type of roles.
A Sunday school director works collaboratively with a small team of directors and the Associate Pastor to provide guidance and oversight to the Sunday school ministry while administrating its weekly function. Each director is responsible for a group of Sunday school classes and teachers to offer encouragement and to equip them for ministry with the proper resources.
