Paul has served as pastor of Jubilee Baptist Church since 2001, following earlier ministry roles in Troy, Millry, and Gilbertown, Alabama, as well as Aberdeen, Mississippi. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Troy University and both his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Paul and his wife, Dana—who is the Distance Learning Coordinator at Enterprise State Community College—have three grown children and two grandchildren. Their daughter, Hannah Pierce, and her husband, Spencer, live in Benton, Mississippi, with their children, Paxton and Everlee. Their son Jeremy and his wife, Morgan, reside in Birmingham, and their son Zack serves in the United States Air Force.
Paul enjoys running and hunting, though Dana says he spends most of his time reading.
